To make the celebration really unique, we will be offering a gift set composed of one Heart-shaped Carrot and Shea butter Soap and one bottle of Milk and Shea lotion. We will be creating this soap towards the end of March 2012 in time for Mother's Day celebration in May. The curing period of organic soap is approximately four weeks.

Our Carrot and Shea butter soap is a special creation for sensitive, old and dark skin, it contains very special ingredients that will help brighten and soften skin texture. This will be created using the Cold Process soap making method to ensure the freshness of the nutritional properties of the ingredients.

As time goes by, our beloved mother's skin texture slowly  became so dark, tired, dry and map with wrinkles due to aging, these signs are all natural as we gradually approach the sunset of our lives, but isn't it more touching and fascinating if we could make our mothers smile with our unique gift especially made for their skin? It only shows that we really, truly care with their well-being and that they are always special in our hearts. A gentle act of love is always priceless!

Giving them purely made organic products with balanced components of ingredients will always make them extra special. All ingredients to be used in this soap have nutritional components that protect the skin from extensive drying and darkening. We do not add glycerin in our soap, because glycerin is naturally generated when soap is made, glycerin makes the skin extra soft and deeply moisturised and conditioned. In commercially-made soaps, glycerin is removed because it is a valuable by-product that can be sold alone, but in handmade organic soaps, it is retained in the finished product. Without glycerin, the soap can be drying which makes the skin dark and old.

Nutritional ingredients that we will be using for this soap:

Carrot Puree - contains very powerful antioxidants, beta-carotene and vitamin E, that help nourish old, dry and dark skin. Beta-carotene breaks into Vitamin A which aid the fastest renewal of skin cells removing old and dead skin cells replacing it with new and lighter texture. It fights bacteria and free radicals that damage the skin. Carrot is a known remedy for premature wrinkles, blemishes and dark spots, it is often called "food for youth".

Olive Oil - A soft oil that contributes to lighter, very smooth and soft skin texture. It contains antioxidants from fruits that gently cleanse, soften and heal damaged skin. It acts as a skin conditioning and moisturising when mixed in soap. Most organic baby soap products have olive oil as its main ingredient because of its very gentle and smooth effect on the skin.

Virgin Coconut Oil - Another excellent remedy for dry, dark and rough skin. Known to slow down the visible lines around the face and neck.

Vitamin E - Already a very popular remedy for old and dry skin. Vitamin E promotes elasticity and healthy skin. It is known also to help lighten skin texture. Keeps the skin very young-looking.

Chamomile Essential Oil - This oil has many health benefits, it is widely used in many aromatherapy session because of its properties to uplift mood, relax muscles and relieve stress. It has a fruity scent and makes the skin glowing, radiant and tend to reduce fine lines. It is very gentle and tender to the skin, thus, recommended to be mixed in all baby care products. Adult skin needs this type of essential oil because it makes the skin very soft, silkier and young-looking. Due to its medicinal properties, Chamomile protects the skin from environmental pollution.

Grapefruit Essential Oil - Known in the aromatherapy world as a happy oil because of its unique properties to uplift mood and cure depression, Grapefruit Essential Oil contains Vitamin C and has anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial properties, hence widely used in organic body care products as a natural preservative. It is now known to fight the visible sign of premature aging like cellulite, varicose and wrinkles. It also fights acne. eczema, pimples, blemishes and dark layer of skin. It is a natural skin lightening and brightening essential oil.

Lavender Essential Oil - cold pressed from French Lavender herbs. Soothing and calming with a very delicate scent that relaxes tired body and brain. Lavender also helps soften old and dry skin texture and fights allergies.

Unrefined Shea butter - The best secret of all lightening organic soap. Unrefined Shea butter is a pure, high grade butter from Karite Tree that contains healing properties and health benefits. It promotes skin elasticity and heals scars, blemishes, acne and stretch marks naturally. It is often used as a superfatting in soap meaning it is added only when the mixture is ready to pour into molds to retain its fresh and nutritional components. It has a natural substance called cinnamic acid that protects the skin from the damaging heat of the sun and environmental pollution.

Honey and Milk - Contains vitamins and minerals that soothe and soften skin texture. Honey gently and naturally exfoliates old and oily skin. It will recapture your skin's lost moisture and glow.

Oatmeal - Oatmeal contains whole grain that naturally scrubs and exfoliates old skin cells. It has special components that help the skin retain its natural moisture and radiance. Oatmeal is also a skin lightening and softening.
